April 16, 2007 and 4 years previous...

Jamie and Linsy were married on October 25th, 2003. It was the last good day before a blizzard hit on the 26th to kick off another South Eastern Idaho winter. Jamie is from Rexburg, Idaho and Linsy is from Bigfork, Montana. They met at a BBQ the summer of 2002, where Jamie undercooked Linsy's hamburger (but he'll never admit it!) They are even more in love today, then they were their wedding day. They spend their free time playing random board games that no one has heard of such as: Ticket To Ride, Settlers of Catan, and Carcazon plus the classic Checkers. They also get their kicks in finding cheap movies at Wal-Mart or Target on the weekends and cuddling up on the couch to watch them. They currently have a DVD collection consisting of over 100 movies! Some of their favorite places to go are to Bigfork, Montana, wasting a summer day away on Rigby Lake, or to take a random drive up in the mountains...where they found a secret huckleberry patch last summer! (another secret passion of J & L's). Linsy graduated from BYU-Idaho December 2005 with her bachelor's degree in Sociology; minor in Child Development. Jamie just finished his last semester of classes and is trying to get an internship to be able to graduate with his bachelor's in Business Management; emphasis in Finance this July. They are currently in a waiting mode for a call back from Walt Disney World to be able to start an internship there. Things have been looking pretty promising, and now it is all in the hands of the Lord. The last they heard, was that they wanted to hire him and to start the 30th, but they haven't actually received "the call." His friend currently works for Disney and has been doing the network thing-that's what the business world is all about these days! So, we'll see how it goes. They are so excited even to think about the possibility of living in Orlando, Florida! But, as for the here and now, Linsy currently works for The Children's Center as a Psychosocial Rehabiliation Specialist, focusing her efforts towards at-risk and behavioral challenged youth. She loves her job, and the flexible hours that it has. This has blessed her marriage to be able to spend time with her husband and still hold down a full time job. Jamie currently works at Madison Memorial Hospital as an Emergency Room Admitting Clerk, and has done for the past five years. He loves his job and the drama that it constantly has, but hates the crazy hours and being away from his WONDERFUL WIFE...(you can guess who might be writing this)... For the majority of their marriage, Jamie has been working grave yard shifts every other Friday and Saturday night while his wife stays at home and rents chick flicks, which is her only time to watch them, so it's not all such a bad thing! But, anytime his family comes up for the weekend, you can guess who tags along! His wife has spent more time with his family then he has this past three years! Thank heavens she married into such a wonderful family...as did Jamie!
