Feels like home...

Well, Jamie's back in Vegas with me. He had such a fun time! He was able to be at the Universal Studios red carpet when they did the premier of "Now I pronounce you Chuck and Larry." He saw Jessica Beil, Adam Sandler, and Kevin James, along with some others. He had a great time! He made some great friends there, especially a nonmember (Andy) whom Jamie was able to do a little missionary work with. They went everywhere with each other, went swimming nightly, and just had a great time. He hopes to keep in contact with him over the years. It's good to have him back...though he leaves again in a week to Georgia!! Hopefully this next time picking him up from the airport will be a little better. I got LOST going to go pick him up and ended up in the ghetto of Vegas! Stripper joints were EVERYWHERE, and so were the "hoodlums." Anyways, while Jamie was gone, I was able to go up to the middle of nowhere (literally) to Panguich, Utah, to meet up with my family for my Uncle Kent's funeral. It was sad, but was a wonderful service. My uncle passed away from several brain tumors and lastly an aneurism. Those couple of days with my extended family was the first time my mom has been with all of her brothers and sisters since before she can remember!! It was great hanging out with my nephews. They are the cutest! Anyways, we are excited to meet our new ward tomorrow! We bumped in to the missionaries outside of our door today...it was nice to see some Mormons! Anyways, we do love it here. It's completely different from Rigby...but it's beautiful in it's own little way. We are in a WONDERFUL area, and have everything at our finger tips. In fact, we haven't even been down to the strip yet! We've enjoyed our community...it feels just like a resort when we take our nightly swims. We'll hopefully upload some pics tonight or tomorrow of our new home and area! Love you all!
