Tag, I'm it!

Well, Ashlee tagged me...so here are some things you may not have known about me! Not that I am an interesting person though...I'm really not. Do you know how hard it is to talk about yourself? Well, I'm gonna give it a shot!

1. You may not have known that I used to suck my finger when I was little. I sucked it so much that I had the most major buck-teeth you've ever seen. My parents have said that I could shut my mouth completely and still be able to put my finger between my teeth! But, believe it or not, I've never had to have braces...and I'll admit, my teeth are pretty dang straight! I get the wonderful genes from my dad :) His are arrow straight!

2. I'm afraid of the dark! Always have been, always will be. I think it started on the farm in Idaho when I'd take out the scraps and hear the coyotes howling...it freaked me out and I'd make the dog go with me everytime, then run my little behind back to the house as fast as I could! Oh, and I'm DEATHLY afraid of snakes! I can't even look at them on the T.V!

3. I love cats. I used to have a "cat farm" if you will. My sister and I had probably, literally, about 30 cats because they kept having babies! I had a talent of taming the wild ones. I would sing to them lullabies, and they would fall in love with me...ahhh...how cute :)

4. I am O.C.D. about having the house clean. I tend to freak out when it's dirty and when I'm stressed...I clean. Ask Jamie, he'll second that!

5. I don't know how to swim...that well....at all. I have been in swimming lessons ump many times, and still can't get the hang of it. My last swimming lesson class I was like 14 or 15 and everyone else in the class was like....oh...4-7 years old!!! Yeah, embarassing. I tend to stick to the side stroke or back stroke...or just doggy paddle, you know.

6. That leads me to my second "Did you know." I almost drowned once...actually about three times. First, when I was in 2nd grade on a swimming trip with the class. 2nd was on some family trip, and third, was my senior year in high school. We were floating down the river and my tube hit a tree trunk and popped and I got sucked into a "tornado" under water. I said a pryaer, and all I can remember everything blacking out, my body going limp, and then all of a sudden I came up out of water and was next to the river beach. This was definantly the scarriest moment of my entire life.

7. My family used to live on a farm. All of us siblings, my father, and grandfather all worked together to do the farm work. We picked rock, howed beets, and moved pipe...do I dare admit that I miss it? I do. I miss it. Many memories on that farm...good times :)

8. I used to have hair so long I'd sit on it at times. Too long.

9. I have the same birthday as my little brother as well as my brother-in-law. I used to hate sharing with my brother because he'd always get more presents! Understandable though because he is 5 years younger than me, but at the time, I couldn't get over it.

10. And last, but not least... I did the dumbest and wildest thing the second week I got to college at BYU-Idaho (my first semester). After religion class, a guy came up and asked if I wanted to go to Seattle with him and a friend, and that they would be leaving in an hour if I wanted to go. I told them only if I could be a friend. So, I asked Tairah if she wanted to come, and without telling our parents, we rushed to get a few items together in a bag and headed out an hour later with two guys we didn't know. How long you ask? 4 days! But, the good part was that we did not pay a single dime out of our pockets! It was fun....but I'd never, ever, do it again. We were so naive! Sorry Mom and Dad :) Love ya ;)

There, those are my deepest darkest secrets.....hope you enjoyed them. And...I don't want to hear about some of them ever again, got it?!
