The Power of Prayer...
Today has been a very eventful day. We have been waiting for an offer through Jamie's company he has been interning through the past 5 months. His branch manager handed him an envelope this afternoon and told him to "open it in private." Jamie tried calling my cell phone three times today and text me once to inform me he received the offer today. I wasn't able to answer because my work was crazy busy and I was stuck with everyone's phones. I'm sure he was just dyeing to open it! As such the loving husband that he is, he decided to wait to open it until we united together tonight...how sweet, huh? So, I came home and we knelt down in prayer thanking the Lord for answering our prayers by letting us have an offer, and not be without a job. We have been praying for this for quite some time, since there's always that chance that he could have gotten done with his internship and not been offered a job afterwords. We sat on the bed together, opened up the envelope and read the first couple of paragraphs to the sentence that they stated the offer. We couldn't help but drop down to our knees in prayer at that moment. What a wonderful gift prayer is! Our prayers were truly answered and we are truly blessed. Here are just some of the pictures of the work ValleyCrest has done around the U.S. You can check out their website at http://www.valleycrest.com/.
