Our litte corner.

Welcome to Jamie and Linsy's little corner of the world. Here you will experience a little piece of what the Sullengers experience- a good portion of their lives including happiness, sadness, hopelessness, excitement, frustration and I'm sure a few more. We hope to keep you up to date on all the news that we have, so sit back, gossip, and enjoy!

Recent events for the Sullengers

Hello everyone! It has been a while, I know, but we are still alive and kickin! Things here in Vegas are treating us very well. It has been raining for the past couple of days now, off and on, and it's been wonderful! I keep telling Jamie there is nothing like the smell of a desert rain, really! It brings back memories of when I used to live on the farm, in the middle of the desert, in Southern Idaho. Some of you might know what I'm talking about...the smell of wet sage brush. Anyways, that's what it smells like lately and I love it. What's new in our lives you might ask? Not much...we just went on a trip to Salt Lake area over the past weekend and stayed with Rhett and Tiffany in their beautiful home. Dorsie and Terry met us up there to hang out over the weekend, along with Shyanne and Wyatt. We had a good time! We played "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" DVD game, and had a blast with that. There were a couple of times where we flunked out! We went shopping, went to church at their ward, and just hung out, laughed and talked. We also went to Cabella's, which is an experience of it's own! The whole time I just thought how much my dad would love that place! If I could, I'd totally take him there on Father's Day! Hunting, fishing, camping, and guns! He'd just love it! There were underground water aquariums with fresh water fish, and life size stuffed animals from all over the world for people to see. There was a fake mountain in the middle of the store and all types of stuff. We had a great time! It was nice to leave Vegas for a weekend and relax for a couple of days. There was so much snow up there! It literally feels like we live in two different type of worlds. Actually, it kind of felt like that Narnia movie, where the kids magically walk in to the snow all of a sudden. We left Vegas, it was about 67 that day and arrived in Provo where it was freezing cold, and snowy! It was fun seeing and being in the snow, but it was good to get back to the nice weather! The weather has been wonderful here, we haven't had to wear coats during the day, rather just a long sleeve T-shirt. People are wearing their capris and flip flops all ready...it's weird! I heard about April-Mayish it starts getting really hot again...that's only in a couple of months! I don't think I'm ready to bare the heat already... Anyways, this weekend Jamie and I have had a lot of fun together. We've been using our gift cards from Christmas. We've gone to the movies two nights in a row! Tonight we actually went to the IMAX theatre in Red Rock and watched the SpiderWick Chronicles. It was excellent! I would recommend that movie to anyone! It is a mix between Narnia, Harry Potter, and Series of Unfortunate Events. It is really good and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time! We loved it! We also had a wonderful afternoon snitching samples at Costco! We just love that place! Anyways, things have been great here. We got our car washed today. We laughed, but was annoyed, to see that right after we washed our car today, it started sprinkling. The most annoying thing is that it hardly ever rains here! The reason we laughed is EVERY single time we get the car washed, it rains.....even in Vegas! How unfortunate! Anyways, we've been pretty busy with work and everything and trying to find time to hang out together. I think that's why we love our weekends so much! We get to relax and hang out together...such a great combo!
Hope everyone is doing well, and hope to hear from you all soon!
