Happy Birthday, Ya Old Fart!

Eating our Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes.....a scrumptious recipe that Kash gave us for Christmas a year ago. I'll have to put the recipe on sometime, it's SOOOO good! Especially with raspberries on top! We had this instead of a whole cake between the two of us for his birthday.
Eating at Applebee's. He wouldn't let me have them come sing Happy Birthday to him...what a party pooper!

Happy Birthday to my hubby! He turned the big 29 this year....I'm not too sure if he wanted me to say that out loud, but I just did...Anyways, he is now 29 years old! I turn 25 in just one week from today! Eek! I'm feeling really old...Life has just been flying by! Everytime I say I'm feeling old though...Jamie gets offended and says, "how do you think I feel!?" We celebrated his birthday by sleeping in ...he watched his Saturday morning cartoons...I fixed a REALLY late breakfast, it practically couldn't have even been called "brunch." I surprised him with a few gifts with breakfast (Harry Potter DVD, a picture of me (yay.) and a fake plant...which is another one of our fedishes. After words, I gave him a hair cut in the frickin' tornado outside (not really, but it was pretty dang windy). Every time I clipped his hair, it would blow into my mouth and eyes! So, I did that for him and then we got all fixed up to go eat dinner. We ate at Applebee's...and got the Maple Hazelnut Blondie there after our meal. Afterwords, we headed over to the theatre and watched Vantage Point...which was way good! If you've ever watched, or I guess, have been addicted to watching 24...this is a lot like it. So, my fellow 24 fans...you'd love it! I know you are, Derik! Then we went and roamed around Target for a bit. We had a great time hanging out together. We have a love of going to the theatre. We get so excited when we can smell the popcorn when you walk through the doors. We've finally found a theatre where you walk just around the corner from the parking lot in the Red Rock Casino and you walk out NOT smelling like smoke, amazingly enough! So, we've been lovin' it! I hope Jamie had a great birthday. I know he loved talking to family on his birthday as well, and that always makes a birthday great!

Happy B-day Jamie - glad you had fun! Good luck with all your big decisions - remember, don't think too hard - if you don't like something, you don't have to stay forever - might as well give something a shot, especially since you guys don't like Vegas as much!

Even though I've never met you Happy Birthday Jamie :) (I figured since your wife knows me and is related than it counts right?)
