Pure bliss...

So, instead of waiting around the house for an hour while the Shepherd's Pie was cooking, we spontaneously decided to head over to Target for a bit and look around....(something we tend to do even on the weekends for fun...) We have been looking for a comforter that suits "Vegas nights." It is already starting to get too warm for comfort in the house and we've turned the A.C. on a couple of times this week so far--it got up to 80 yesterday and today. Knowing the hotter days around the corner sure doesn't leave my mind at ease. It just gets way too hot down here! Last summer we only slept with a meesly sheet...which I can't stand! I have to have something heavier than that. So Jamie was searching on the internet and found a couple pretty comforters we wanted to check out. And there it was on the shelf, all alone and wanting someone to take it home....our new cozy comforter. White, with silhouettes of birds and tree limbs! We bought it with our birthday money, thank you to our parents :) I must say, it really makes our bedroom "pop!" We couldn't help but unpackage it, throw it on the bed, and climb in. The simplest way to put it is "pure bliss." So cozy! This was our first purchase for our apartment since we moved here! We even got brown striped sheets to match with it! I'm so excited!
