Our litte corner.

Welcome to Jamie and Linsy's little corner of the world. Here you will experience a little piece of what the Sullengers experience- a good portion of their lives including happiness, sadness, hopelessness, excitement, frustration and I'm sure a few more. We hope to keep you up to date on all the news that we have, so sit back, gossip, and enjoy!

Our Wonderful Weekend!

This weekend we were able to go on a bike ride with our friends, Molly and Jason. We had a great time riding around. We went through this rather large park where there were tons of peacocks, ducks and geese, as well as horses roaming around. There were little ponds everywhere, and TREES...not palm trees, but actually big trees with leaves on them! It felt like anywhere but Vegas. Afterwords, we ordered some pizza and had a very competetive night playing the Wii. It was so much fun! We invited a middle aged couple from the ward over to play with us. They always make us laugh, and we were all craving some good laughs, so we just had to call them up.

On Saturday and Sunday, we watched conference in the comfort of our apartment. It was so relaxing. I always love conference. I think I get more out of it now that I am a little older. I actually enjoy sitting for the whole two hours and listening to each speaker. It was so wonderful sustaining our new prophet on Sunday morning, it brought tears to my eyes. Jamie was able to go to the priesthood session, and really enjoyed it as well. He especially liked the part where President Monson told a story about 'examples' and wiggled his ears to "stump" the little kid copying every move he was doing!
We took a little bike ride on Sunday and went to the top of Grand Teton (the road we live on) and then coasted all the way back down. We were coasting super fast....we had so much fun! It was probably about a 1 1/2 miles total that we coasted. We stopped and took some pictures of the vegetation out in the desert. Though it looks very dry and deserted, the cactus are blooming right now and have these gorgeous white and dark purple flowers on them. Spring here is a beautiful time of year!
