Chocolate Chip What?!

So, as many of you know...I have a husband that LOVES chocolate, and abosolutely LOVES cookies! So, of course he LOVES chocolate chip cookies! He has been craving chocolate oatmeal cookies for sometime now. So, we went to the store and bought some oatmeal (no, I don't have it on hand) just to fix his cookie feddish. He got all excited that I was making them and away I was going following the recipe perfectly, put them on the pizza stone (which makes them come out perfectly) and waited for them to cook. About 3/4 the way through I turned on the oven light and noticed they weren't lookin' right. I thought, well, I'll just wait till they are all the way cooked. Well, the timer went off and they were still gooey as heck. I went through the recipe book to figure out if I had left something from the recipe but to my surprise I didn't. Jamie came over and looked at the recipe, then right off the bat noticed I had made "Chocolate Chip CHEWIES" not chocolate chip cookies. Wow, what a difference that made! So, poor Jamie had to eat chewies and not cookies...and we still have half of a bowl of batter to make----4 dozen of those babies! He just laughed it off, gave me a kiss and hug, and said "I love you!"
