My first concert...

Have you ever heard of Rush? Neither have I! But, it was my first concert....Jamie got free tickets to go to a concert for the band "Rush" to go watch at the Mandalay Bay. Neither of us had ever heard of the band, but hey! Free tickets, right? Well, needless to say, we sure "rushed" out of there after sitting in there for an hour and a half. I guess it was a famous band back in the 80's....hard 80's rock, where you can't even understand what they say...and for some reason, their theme was "chickens" and had a whole oven on stage with rotiserie chickens. Uh...weird?! Wow, were there ever some hard core fans there though! We ended up sitting next to one the biggest fans in the entire audience! He was so drunk and singing to every song, he was more entertaining than the concert, I thought! By the time we left, he had taken off his shirt and was singing louder than than ever! He probably would have beat us up if we had told him we had never even heard of the band! We also smelt something rather sweet while sitting there, which Jamie had suspected to be pot. Needless to say, as we got up and left...he saw the guy smoking it, and sure enough...it was pot! Also, we saw some dude behind us get escorted out by the cops...not sure why, but i'm sure it's not too hard figuring out. Wow, what a group of people! I told Jamie at the end, that I'm officially a converted Rush fan! Ha ha! He laughed pretty hard after that!!
