Rain Rain...come again!

A couple days ago we had the first rain storm we've seen in Las Vegas since my birthday on March 16th! It's been 6 months! I was so happy to look out the window at work to see lightning and hear the the thunder. When I got out at 5 o'clock, everyone was upset that it was raining! I couldn't believe all the negative attitudes! It would be different if it rained everyday, but it was one of the first storms of the year, and the year is almost over! Anyways, it was raining so hard! When it rain it absolutely pours here! I guess that's what you call a desert monsoon! It was a beautiful sight! I got home and opened all the windows to feel that fresh air...i'm sick of the A/C! I want fresh cool air from outside. The temps are finally going down now. The weather forecasters are calling this fall. Okay, it was 99 degrees for the high today! That's not much of fall weather to me! But, in a weird sense, it kind of does feel like fall. I got goose bumps the other night walking over to the pool and it was 75!
