Our 5th Anniversary!

We now have been married for 5 whole years as of October 25th! I can't believe how fast time has gone! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful person to be with. We have so much fun together and have made so many memories these past 5 years...and will continue to make more. He treats me so good, and spoils me rotten! For our anniversary, we got all fixed up to go to Claim Jumper, one of our favorite restaurants, and split a really yummy citrus salad and virgin strawberry daiquiri. Yum! Following dinner, we walked around the shops at Town Square (a town-like outside mall...it is soooo romantic!) and then headed over to watch a movie. About 45 minutes into the movie we walked out because Jamie was getting motion sickness! The cameraman was bouncing the camera every to give it the "home video" feel, and it was awful! So, we went around and shopped a bit longer and enjoyed the beautiful weather, then came back home to put in our own movie. Well, when I got home, I walked into our living room and flipped on the light only to find a beautiful guitar sitting on a stand on our living room floor with a beautiful bow on it. I just couldn't believe it! I screamed and cried and asked Jamie where in the world it came from, and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about! I have been wanting a guitar for so long! I play the piano but can't afford one, so why not try a new instrument that is just as beautiful sounding and more transferrable. Anyways, I was so excited. I'm telling you...this boy spoils the crap out of me! I guess it's one of his many ways of telling me he loves me.

My guitar and roses! Isn't he sweet?! Acting like I know how to play...
Jamie rockin' out!

The best part is...our friend Steve has already started teaching me basic chords. One day I'll play as good as him... let's hope :)
I will admit, I was a tiny bit upset at Jamie because he told me that we weren't getting anything for eachother for our anniversary. I should have known. So, I hadn't gotten him anything...I mean NOTHING! About an hour before we were heading out to go to dinner, he said he needed to make a trip to Wal-Mart with out me, but reassured me that he was only spending 5 bucks. As soon as he got in his car...I rushed to my car and headed over to See's Candies and bought him two boxes of candies/chocolates. I thought I went over by spending 15 bucks! Little did I know. He even got me a bouqet of a dozen roses! What a little stinker! My gift was so totally lame compared to his! It's the thought that counts though, right?! Anyways, I am totally happy and love being married. I love Jamie with all of my heart. We have such a healthy relationship and just love being together and spending time together (despite him teasing me, biting, tickling...and wrestling all the time! He tells me I'd miss it though if he were gone...and he's right in some odd way). I love you honey! I'm looking forward to many more years with you!!!
