We're POOPED!!!
Holy cow! We just had the funnest weekend ever! My family flew down from Montana (Mom, Dad, and Riley) and stayed for Friday-Monday. We had so much fun! Where to start...hmmm.
Waiting for the Bellagio Fountain to go off.
Day 1:
We picked them up from the airport at 9:30 p.m. and headed straight over to the Strip to watch the Bellagio Fountains. We stuck around for three songs! It would have been four until we realized they don't play them after 12 a.m. I think our favorite that was played was Viva Las Vegas by Elvis. We were laughing and having such a good time! We went in to the the Bellagio to check out their seasonal arrangment which was absolutely beautiful! After that we walked through Ceasar's Palace to show them the Forum Shops 'sky dome'. Then we came home and munched and talked until 2 a.m!
Waiting for the Bellagio Fountain to go off again!
Day 2:
All of us at Hoover Dam.
My mom and I.
The yummiest smoothie EVER!!!
The Cheesecake Factory! YUM!!!
The Sphinx at Luxor. Notice my Dad and Mom snuck in the picture! Ha ha!
My nerdy mom! haha!
The weird tunnel. Dad's trying not to fall over!
Dad giving his M&M sign. He's a nerd too ;)

At the hot tub.
Playing Ticket to Ride. Dad stomped us!
At the hot tub again!
Slept in. Got up and headed over to Hoover Dam. We had a BLAST! It was so fun to go down in the tunnels. It was crazy to see how many people they could squish into ONE elevator...seriously, they squeeze you in so tight, you can feel everyone breathing. Ew. We were just hoping noone would pass gas while going down! The elevator ride was 79 seconds long to get to the bottom of the Dam. Not recommended for anyone with clausterphobia! Anyways, so we went on the tour and looked around and walked across the dam. The weather was so pretty and perfect! All weekend long it was low of mid 60's and high of mid 80's! So, we left the Dam and headed over to The Cheesecake Factory! We had the funnest time there! We all ordered something different and shared plates. We got a couple Tropical Smoothies to share, which were DELICIOUS!!! Holy cow, probably the best smoothie ever!!! Anyways, we had such a fun time there. We were laughing and talking and just enjoying eachother's compay. It was great! After that, we went down to the strip and walked around. We went to Mandalay Bay, and ditched out on the Shark Reef idea and decided to go to the IMAX instead at the Luxor. When we got there, it was closed. Oh well! Riley was able to see the Sphinx for the first time so that was pretty cool. We ended up just going over to the M&M store (4 stories) and had a blast there. We all felt like little kids in a candy store. It was really fun! They had this cat walk that you walk on through a dark tunnel that circles around you with black light and polka dots and it totally plays tricks on your mind! It reminds me of something in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! We also went to the M&M 3D movie, it was way fun! That night, we went and bought 2 pounds of SEE'S chocolates then came back home and jumped in the pool and hot tub. It was like a little piece of heaven. It was such a perfect evening and we had so much fun playing around in the water together.
Day 3:
Slept in. Went to church. Came back had a yummy dinner outside and pumpkin pie dessert. After that we played Ticket to Ride...and my dad beat my mom by ONE point! He was pretty proud of himself. Then we went and jumped in the hot tub for about three hours! Our complex hot tub and pool has water falls all over so we played around on the rocks. It felt like we were at a resort! One of the hot tubs wasn't working and was ice cold. So we waited til we got too hot to stay in, then jumped in the "cold tub" until we couldn't stand it, then went and jumped in the pool right after! The pool felt so warm!!! ha! So fun! We ended up going to bed at 2:30 a.m. after playing xbox, surfing itunes (which, by the way, my dad has GREAT taste of music! Sorry, I had to brag :) and munching on junk food and just talking.
Day 4:
Slept in. Walked over to Pei Wei and sadly said our goodbyes at the airport. BOOOO!!! I hate goodbyes! Atleast we'll be able to see them again in just a short two months for Christmas! yay! So excited for that! I love having something to look forward to!
We had such a fun time with them! It has been a whole year since I last saw them. Riley has gotten so big and I hate it! I hate seeing him and my nephews grow up without me. It's so hard living away from family. Someday, we will be living in Montana...and I can't wait!!!
