Give blood...get tickets!

So, I went and gave blood for my first time last Wednesday. I was freaking out pretty bad and was so nervous going in. I don't do very well with seeing blood at all. But, when I saw a sign at my work saying "Give blood and recieve two free all day passes to Adventure Dome at Circus Circus" I couldn't pass it up! Well, little did I know going in, that they were only taking whole blood that day due to a time issue. So, yeah, for my first time giving blood I gave an entire pint! It was so freaky when they lifted up the bag of it and showed it to me...I just about lost it! But, it was worth it knowing that I am helping save someone's life. Anyways, so for our birthday celebration (we always celebrate our birthdays together since they are only 8 days apart), we headed over to the Adventure Dome Friday night. When we walked in, we looked around only to find we were practically the only two people over 15 years old! At first we were a little weirded out thinking we were walking back in time to the 80's...it was just a weird feel to that place. But then the little kid kicked in us we just went with it and had a blast! We rode their roller coasters and played lazer tag the whole night. Jamie was a kick to watch during lazer tag. You would have thought he was in the military or something because he was rolling on the floor and crawling on his hands and knees and totally being sneaky shooting everyone in sight! I must have been an easy target for everyone because little kids kept following me around shooting me wherever I went! So, yeah, we practically went through the lazer tag 6 times, almost all back to back. It was a blast and so worth that pint of blood!
