Magic Show!

How can you be a Las Vegasan, without going to a magic show?! Well, this weekend Jamie and I used up our free tickets to see "Comedy Magic with Nathan Burton." I gave blood about a month ago, and my work gave free V.I.P. tickets to the show for doing it. So...we made a date out of it! We headed over to the Flamingo hotel, and barely made it after all the traffic! We've never been to a magic show, so it was pretty entertaining to us. Jamie and I kept whispering to eachother how we thought he did his "magic." There was a lot of stunts where he had someone suddenly appear. I couldn't figure it out! He even made a motorcycle rise in mid air, and then have some appear on top of it. But, it was pretty cool to watch. We had some excellent seats too, so we could watch closely what was going on. After the magic show we went over to the Flamingo gardens and looked at their flamingos, and and all the other wild life they had in there. They had the biggest goldfish i've ever seen in my life! It looked like it was over 25 pounds!
After the Flamingo, we went over to Town Square and ate at Claim Jumper. We got our salads we always get...and they are so dang good! Then, we walked around because the weather was absolutely perfect outside. Before we went home, we had to run to the grocery store to get a few items for Sunday dinner, and Jamie bought me a beautiful bouquet of gerberas. I thought it was so cute of him, he asked me what ones I thought was pretty, then threw them in the cart! I love that!

We just got back from a week in Vegas visiting my brother and sis in law. It was fun. We went to the circus that was in town at the Orleans while we were there and went to the Country Superstars Tribute Concert. They were both super fun AND it only got to 100 degrees. SOOOO not Vegas in June. It was great!
