Jamie and I bought these cool slabs of hickory at Costco. We soaked it all morning and afternoon to use it for Sunday dinner with two small salmon filets. We seasoned it with Magic Chef Salmon Seasoning, melted butter, and lemon. It smelt sooo good! And tasted even better! The only thing is, our grill is so small. Since everything sits lower to the flame, it kept catching on fire! We went out there every 5 minutes to go spray the flames down with our squirt gun. It sure had a natural "smoke" taste after that! We paired it up with some rice and my mango salsa! YUM!!!

Hickory Wood Smoked Salmon
