LaHonda
Meet LaHonda. Poor girl, she's almost 10 years old, but still runs like a charm! She was a gift to Jamie from his parents when he returned home from his mission. We just love her! Although she's getting a little old, she still has many miles ahead of her. Right now, she only has 114,000 miles! We've really tried to take care of her, but some things had to be neglected until we could afford it. Finally, we were able to give her a little makeover.

And here is my hard workin' man. Bless his heart, he always finds ways to make me laugh! He's holding the chipped up windshield wiper arms in this pic. He has worked so hard to getting the car fixed up again. Thank you Jamie for all your hard work! I love you!
Living in Las Vegas, it is practically essential to have your windows tinted. We finally were able to get them done this summer. It keeps the car so much cooler now! Not to mention, she looks so much better now! It's amazing what a little tint will do?!
Last summer, my battery died at work. For some reason, it killed my radio too! I've been going to work musicless for a year now. We were finally able to break down and get me a radio. It's an Alpine, and I'm so excited because it has an ipod connection too! It's the little things that matter.
Poor LaHonda has braved a lot of road trips! The headlights were so bad that when we had the brights on, they still looked dim. We took her to a full service gas station and had them buff out the lights. They almost look new again! So much cheaper than replacing them!
One day, (probably 4 years ago) we were driving back from Idaho Falls when a car passed us and kicked up a good sized rock. Somehow it was able to hit it just right on the tiny little piece that squirts out fluid on the windshield! Jamie's holding the broken piece in the picture above. It was super annoying when you had to clean your windshield, because you'd have to be going atleast 40-50 mph to get it to splash right. Otherwise, it would shoot straight up in the air!
There was a crack that we have been dealing with for a very, VERY, long time! It started from one end, and went all the way across, then came back to the other side! It was horrible! Finally, we got that replaced! We were even able to replace the windshield wiper arms. The paint was chipped really bad on them from the heat down here. They look so much better!

An ipod hookup is coveted! I wish my car had one! It's always great to spruce up your car. I know what you mean though, it's hard to spend money on - so glad you were able to do it!
