Saying Goodbye

On Saturday, Jamie and I drove down to Salt Lake City for the day to say goodbye to our close friends, Steve and Emily, before they head off to Beijing, China for a few years. They are going back to China for business opportunties. Emily is happy to be close to her family again, but it's difficult for Steve to be leaving his. It's crazy to think they have sold everything they own practically, minus 6 luggage bags and 3 carryons that they will be taking with them on the airplane. They are such troopers!  Steve and Emily have been our friends since our first Sunday in Vegas. We have made so many memories with them and have grown very close to them. In Vegas, they were like our family. We did everything with them! We have missed them so much since we have moved. It was perfect meeting up at Temple Square and walking around.  The grounds were absoluteliy beautiful!  Flowers were blooming everywhere and the weather was perfect!  After we walked around for a little bit, we ate at a really yummy Greek place.  I wish I would have taken a picture, because the food was to die for!  After lunch, we strolled around Gateway, where Emily and I found matching bracelettes to remember each other.  We knew it was cheesy, but don't care :)  It was just a beautiful day and we're so glad we went! Even though it was hard saying bye to them when we moved to Idaho, it was even more difficult saying it this time. So, we just want to say we love you guys and that we will sure miss you!  Good luck with everything!
