Baby Shower!

Last Friday, my mother-in-law Michele and sister-in-law Ashley threw me a baby shower! It was so much fun! We played some fun games, ate delicious food, and opened presents. Michele made yummy chicken salad crescents, and Ashley made the cutest watermelon baby buggy ever! There were about 10 of us there, so it turned out not too big, not too small. Just perfect! Even though my mom was unable to make it, I was so happy that my sister was able to come! It meant so much to me that she was there.  My mom will be coming when the baby is born though, and I can't wait! Thank you Michele and Ashley for doing this for me and baby girl, and thank you everyone for coming and for your generous gifts.  Just a little over a month, and she's gonna be here! I have so much to do until then...so wish us luck!

Everyone got a string and tried to measure it how big I was around! ha!  I don't know if it was a good thing or bad thing that everyone measured too big! :)

Ashley threw together some cute games.  This is a matching game with "baby stuff" and "candy bar names." 

Ashley surprised me with a long ribbon with every color of bow attached!  It is the cutest thing ever!

Cara sent me a box of a whole bunch of projects she has been working on, since she wasn't able to come.  I couldn't believe all the hard work she put into this!  She made burp cloths, a rattle, a tu-tu, a onesie, a cute little carrying case for all the essentials, and even a upholstered a wet-nap container!  

Ashley made me a nursing apron and did such a good job!  It is so dang cute!!!

Michele brought over a box of pink things from when Jamie was born.  His grandma and great aunt wanted a little girl so bad, they made all these girly things.  But since it turned out that it was a boy instead of a girl, they never got put to use.  So, I'm excited to use them for our little girl.  There was a blanket, a little dress and booties, receiving blanket, and a little white blessing cover.

Don't you just love the clothes line?  I thought it was the cutest idea!
And here is my sister!  I am so happy she came!  I just love her to death!
