Our litte corner.

Welcome to Jamie and Linsy's little corner of the world. Here you will experience a little piece of what the Sullengers experience- a good portion of their lives including happiness, sadness, hopelessness, excitement, frustration and I'm sure a few more. We hope to keep you up to date on all the news that we have, so sit back, gossip, and enjoy!

Ivy's Baby Blessing

This past Sunday, we were able to bless our little Ivy.   We dressed her in my blessing dress that I wore for my baby blessing. It was fun to put it on our own daughter. We were so worried that she was going to cry the whole way through the blessing.  Right before sacrament meeting, I nursed her to give her that little extra comfort.  As I was about ready to walk in the doors, she began to cry!  I started to rock her in an empty classroom, and she fell asleep in about 2 minutes!  She ended up staying sound asleep even through the blessing.  Jamie gave a beautiful blessing!  He did such a wonderful job, I'm so proud of him!  We both gave our testimonies as well.  It was such a special day.  After the blessing, we headed over to Dorsie and Terry's for lunch.  It was great to have everyone together.  Thank you Dorsie and Terry for opening up your home and feeding everyone.  We really appreciate everything everyone did to make this day special for us.
On the side note, I can't believe how fast this month has gone.  Today is Ivy's 4 week birthday...I can hardly believe it.  I fall more and more in love with her each day.  She is such a blessing in our lives.  Thank you to both of our families for coming and supporting such a special day with us!  We missed having my brother Derik (he's on an internship this semester in Sacramento), Jamie's brother Kash and his family (we were hoping we could do it while they were down a couple weeks ago but it didn't work out), and the rest of Jamie's step-siblings.

Sad we couldn't be there, but I'm sure it was great and you had lots of family support so that is good! She is a doll and how precious to be able to dress her in your same blessing dress!
