Our little 2-month old

I can't believe it!  Ivy is now 2 months old.  She's so much fun!  She's cooing, smiling, and sleeping better at night!  Last night, she actually slept for 7 1/2 hours straight, then after feeding her, she went down for another 3!  It was the longest she's slept so far. Things are going so good!  I can't get enough of this girl!
So, today she went in for her 2-month well baby check-up.  Poor thing, I felt so bad for her as she was getting her immunization shots.  She did better than I expected though.  She cried just for a couple minutes and then she just looked up at me with teary eyes and stared.  So I cuddled and kissed her to help her feel a little bit better.  I hate seeing her cry, it rips my heart out!

Here are Ivy's stats:

Weight:     10 lbs 2 oz     30%
Height:      22 in.             35%
Head:        14.75 in.        17%
Weight/Height Ratio:       32%

Just after the shots.  She just stared up at me and wouldn't take her eyes off.  I felt so bad for her!  I think she was thinking "mom...how could you let them do this to me!?"
Weighing and measuring...

Ivy smiling and cooing at the nurse BEFORE the shots.

Jamie helping out with the check-up.

Letting her know that daddy was still there.

Ivy sporting her new bandaids.

Daddy consoling her.
Taking a nap after a hard day.

Showing off her battle wounds again.

Taking a calming bath.

Mommy and Ivy ready for bedtime.

Those appts are always bitter-sweet. Sweet cause you get to see how she's growing and bitter because of the shots! Hudson had his finger pricked the other day and he was fascinated, rather than crying which is what he usually does. So she will grow out of it - the plus to it is they are extra cuddly with momma after it happens :)

Sorry I haven't commented in a while! I still have such a hard time with all the immunizations. The boys always ask if when they go to the dr. they have to have shots. Usually, the answer is no:) Ivy is growing so well it looks like. You are feeding her good;) I had to giggle a little at the censored picture Jamie is covering her. Cute. You 2 are great parents and it is fun to see how much you love being one.
