3 Months Old
Yesterday Ivy turned 3 months old! Time goes way too fast! We aren't sure how much she weighs right now, but she still is mostly in newborn clothes. She's a tiny little thing, hence her nickname "runt." She is getting so much fun! These are some of the things that we love about her right now:
She sleeps through the night. Usually 9 hours straight. If she does wake up, it's only at 5 or 6 to eat, then she goes right back down.
She is starting to hold her head up pretty good.
She has the biggest cheesiest grin! Especially when we get her up out of her crib in the morning!
When I pick her up in the morning, a lot of times she will nuzzle into my neck, and suck! Ha ha!
She coos more and more, and louder and louder.
She loves bathtime and has started to push off the bathtub walls with her little legs!
She sucks her thumb, or her first two fingers...whichever comes first.
She has gorgeous big blue eyes with LONG eye lashes.

She loves to cuddle.
She loves to be sung to.
She loves motion!
She loves looking at everything around her. She can follow with her eyes and head now.
When she smiles, she sticks her tung out! I love it!
She gets the hickups when she coos and gasps too much from being happy.
She has the tiniest little bum ever. Jamie calls it two walnuts.
She now grabs onto my hair and gets a very tight grip!
She blows bubbles when she's happy. Her mouth gets completely slobbery. Grandpa Merritt calls her "Bubbles."
Other nicknames: Ives, Little Miss, Drama Queen, Runt, Dolly, Flower of the West and Ivalee (given by Granny Neilson), Love-love, Munchkin, Cuddle Monster or Cuddle Bunny, and Splat (given by Sid).

Oh man - she is so cute! She has lots of fun nicknames - Hudson doesn't really have any :( Happy 3 months! It just gets better every month and every new thing she does! I don't have a favorite age because they are all so great!
