After a wonderful week with Jamie's family, we headed up to see my side in Montana. We left close to 8 o'clock p.m. on the 27
th, and arrived at my parents at 3:15 a.m. It was an incredibly long and stressful drive. We have chalked that one up to be one of the worst drives ever! But, the only thing that was good about it is that we drove during Ivy's sleeping time, so she slept the entire way! We were excited to get there and spend as much time as we could because my entire family was able to be together. We enjoyed every minute of it, as this may be one of the last times for a really long time since my brother Baden and his family will be moving back to Alaska soon. So, since it will be a while until everyone can be together again, we made it a point to live it up and make a lot of memories.
The morning we got there, my parents surprised Jamie and I with our Christmas presents, which deserve a whole new post on their own. All I can say is I have one talented and selfless dad. Stay tuned for details :)
The first night we were there we went ice skating on Lake Blaine at the Bishop's home. The youth were actually there as an activity for mutual, so we all decided to go with Riley. It was such a blast! Some of the other things we did was play lots of board games, murder in the dark, ate lots of yummy homemade food, pigged out on Baden's homemade chocolates, gave my mom and Amy pedicures, made bows for Ivy and Amy's soon-to-arrive baby girl, went sledding behind the 4-wheeler, played with the nephews and Ivy, and shot guns. We had an absolute blast up there! It always goes by way to fast!

That was so nice to have you guys come up for Christmas! I'm so glad we were all able to be together one last time before big changes happened. We are so going to miss Baden and Em around. It won't ever be the same. I really wonder what this year will bring for all of us...
