This post is a little over-due, but that doesn't change the fact that we had a wonderful Christmas! Jamie had to work Christmas Eve, but got off at 12:00 and surprised me! I was expecting him to work a little longer. It was so slow, they let him off early. Such a great Christmas gift! We met up with Kash and Cara at Dorsie and Terry's home and spent the evening hanging out with everyone and watching a Christmas movie. Roxie, Ivy, and Hudson had so much fun just running around and playing. It's always good times :) Christmas morning we woke up and had our own time as a family here at home and opened gifts. I loved every minute watching Ivy unwrap little things that "Santa" gave her. The best part was watching her get in her stocking! And of course we let her unwrap our individual gifts as well :) She was at such a fun age this Christmas. She anticipated Santa coming every day for a month! Every day she would remind us "Santa Claus is coming to town to see Ivy!" -and then she would sing the song. It was so cute! Anyways, after we had our own time, we headed over to Michele and Layne's and spent a good part of the day there with both of Jamie's brothers and their families. We had a big breakfast and then exchanged gifts with the cousins. We just hung out with everyone and enjoyed being together. Later that evening we went and saw Dorsie and Terry and exchanged gifts there as well and had a wonderful dinner. It was a relaxing and low key Christmas, which I loved! I always love getting the cousins together. Ivy can't get enough of them and makes sure to give them hugs the whole time!
