Lately...

This is some things we've been up to lately...

Derik got accepted to medical school at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.  He is leaving in just two weeks!  We've been trying to squeeze in as much time as possible before he leaves.  

I finally got my haircut after an entire year!

We had Sunday dinner at Michele and Layne's last week and captured this gem of a picture!  Finally was content for a few seconds...he was super fussy the entire day and evening due to me eating chocolate the night before.  Bad idea.

Took Ivy to the doctor and finally got some meds for a rash she's had for two months.

Found this "tangled" doll at a garage sale for $1, and found a tutorial to detangle doll hair.  Thank you Pinterest!

Ivy rides her tricycle any chance she gets!  She's become quite the pro!

I started running again after my six week appointment this week.  It felt so good!  Although pushing a stroller and two kids is hard work!

Took Ivy to the dentist for the first time.  After the hygienists bribed her, she finally relaxed a little to get her teeth cleaned.  No tooth decay.  Phew!

Took the kids to Rexburg Rapids and met up with Sid.  Ivy had a blast!  I need to get her in some swimming lessons.  She has found the courage to finally go under water!

 And this is my boy lounging at the pool.  He slept like this almost the entire afternoon!

Took Ivy to the Porter Park splash pad.  She was in heaven.

Ivy is going to miss her Aunt Kayla so much.  Here they are painting their nails together.  Ivy is such a girl!
