Family
We had so much fun over the weekend! Dorsie and Terry came down on Wednesday and Friday night and we had a blast! Wednesday we all went to the Cheesecake Factory (thank you Dorsie and Terry) and we had fun just sitting, talking and just catching up on each other's lives. On Friday night, we walked the strip and bought the most delicious caramel apples we have ever tasted! They were covered with Heath bar and carmel...mmm mm mmm! This whole time we've been living in Vegas, we haven't had a chance to just walk down the strip and enjoy our selves with out being rushed for one thing or another. I have been wanting to watch the Bellagio fountain, and for the first time we saw it go off, twice, on Friday night! Each time we saw it, the music had just barely begun when we walked up to it, so it was kinda fun. The first time it "danced" to a cute Frank Sinatra song, and the second time it went off to Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." It was absolutely beautiful! Besides seeing Dorsie and Terry, that was probably the biggest high light of my night!
After the fountain, we went and walked around in the Caesar's Palace and realized how much money we DON'T have...which isn't hard to realize in that mall, but that's besides the point. Though we are considered "locals" now, we sure felt like tourists over the weekend. On Saturday, Jamie and I went to the Primm Outlets and hit the Hollister outlet, which is now our most loved store. After that, we went shopping to the Fashion Show Mall, and bought a couple cute things there too. Over all, we had a wonderful weekend! Now we get to look forward to seeing my family for Thanksgiving in Montana! We got our tickets last week and though we tried to keep it a secret from the fam for a while...we were just too excited to keep it total silence! It will be a very quick trip, but definately worth it!
Happy Holidays to everyone!
