Jazzercise

I'm so excited! My friend and I joined a "jazzercise" class that they offer at my work, after work on Tuesday's and Thursdays for only three bucks a class! I went today and signed up. It totally gives you a work out and it's fun to dance around to jazzy music....though it kind of makes me feel Richard Simmons-ish. Anyways, the class sounds weird, but it actually really makes you break a sweat! We also do strengthening excercises as well...i'm really excited about it! Though, I don't really know what I'm doing in yet...I just randomly ran around and acted like I new what I was doing, waving my hands around and kicking every which way. I make a complete idiot of myself, but hey! I broke a major sweat, so who cares! On the other hand, my friend was making me laugh so dang hard, I think I got more of an ab excercise more than anything! We had a blast though! I'm looking forward to Tuesday!

p.s. Today I got an "On the Spot Award" for exceptional team work! I guess they don't hand them out very much since my boss who has been working there for 15 years has only gotten 4 awards...so I felt very priveleged! They also gave me with my award, a $50 gift card to Target! Dang, if they had only given it to me yesterday I could have put it towards my comforter purchas last night! Oh well...I was so excited, it totally made my day! It's nice to work for a company that actually treats their employees exceptionally well. We have benefits coming out of our ears!!! I love it!
