We are so excited! The condo is located in the greenest and most lush part of Vegas where there is actually grass, water (even small lakes!), trees, and flowers! We are so sick of looking at desert, rocks, and dog poop (which is a whole nother venting session by itself). Anyways, we are so excited! We will be moving in on the 19th...yes, the 19th! But we don't have to be out of our apartment here until July 6th. Jamie and I both took a couple of hours off of work together where I met him at his work and we both went over to Henderson to sign the lease. Afterwords, we went and got a sandwich together and had lunch. Can I just say, I miss the days of going to college with my husband where we ate lunch together every single day. It was great just spending the afternoon with him and talking. I had a wonderful day today :) By the way...it was 103 today. We thought about sitting on the grass to have a picnic, but resorted back to sitting in the A/C car instead!

A New Beginning...
Well, Jamie and I have been really pondering the question of "what do we do now." There have been so many dilemmas that it has been exhausting! Through temple attendance, fasting, tithing, and praying we have finally reached our decision. First off, let me say, that we don't want spend the rest of our lives in Vegas and definately don't want to raise children here, but you can always find good wherever you go. We have enjoyed our time spent here and have made many memories this past year. Wow, I can't beleive we've been here for almost exactly a year...(a year on July 6th)! Anyways, we've made many friends and absolutely love our ward. But, we have been really craving family at the exact same time. It's difficult not being able to see them on a regular basis. I haven't seen my family since Thanksgiving and Jamie and I haven't made it back to Idaho since Christmas. We have been blessed to have seen Jamie's Dad and Terry a few times since though, which has been absolutely great and a blessing by itself! There are so many things that Jamie and I want right now. We realized after really pondering everything that we just can't have it all at the same time. We realize we are in a wonderful place to jumpstart so we have decided to stay in Vegas for another year and start from square one before we try to obtain ALL our dreams! Today, we signed a new 1-year lease agreement to a beautiful condo...where we will no longer be parked at the one-bedroom 700 sq. feet apartment we are in now. We are moving to greener pastures, literally where we found a wonderful deal on a 1410 sq ft 2 bedroom condo (and 2 bathrooms might I add :) as well as with a 2 car garage in Summerlin!
