Happy Thanksgiving!

Jamie and I were able to go up to Idaho for Thanksgiving! Instead of pulling an all-nighter driving up there this time, we both got off at 12:00 from work, and after leaving at 2:00, we ended up arriving at 12:00 midnight, Idaho time. It was such a nice drive considering we didn't have to drive til 5 a.m! We had so much fun up there though.
The picture above was taken in Idaho infront of a pawn shop we went to with Michele. It was a little creepy, but cool all at the same time. I was digging the old jewerly. Anyways, It's about 50 from the train tracks, so I had to take a picture in front of the box car. This is my new favorite pic!
Okay, on with the weekend...
We ended up spending Thanksgiving dinner with Dorsie and Terry and Terry's side of the family. There were around 25-30 people for dinner! It was crazy! That was the biggest Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had, I think. Dinner was amazing--right down to the juicy turkey to the ever so yummy sticky buns, and can't forget that delicious raspberry pretzel salad! Whoever made that, is an amazing cook. I could have eaten the entire pan! It was great to see the fam and spend time especially with Dorsie and Terry, Pat and Ash, Shy and Jonathon, and Wyatt.
After dinner, we headed over to Michele and Layne's for pie and played with their cute little dog, Maddie. That dog is pure entertainment. I think I've gotten a little attached to her. On Friday, we hung out all day with Michele, Layne, Pat and Ash and hit up some craft stores and then went together to see TWILIGHT!!! I have been waiting so long to see that movie....and was not dissapointed! The scenery was amazing in that movie and makes me want to live in Montana even more! So, anyways, we came back to the house afterwords, and ate junk food and talked. Have you ever had jalapeno jelly? Don't let it scare you...it is so good! Pair it with a wheat thin cracker and some plain cream cheese, and there you have it. A yummy snack! Michele got me hooked on it. Anyways, we had a great time at Michele's. She is always so welcoming and so fun to be around!
I took Maddie out for a walk outside on Friday morning and enjoyed the brisk cold air that we haven't been getting in Vegas. Although it was super duper cold in Idaho, it felt SO GOOD and so refreshing!!! I loved just bundling up and putting on my mittens and boots! Michele put a little holiday sweater on Maddie and we were ready to go!

On Saturday, we headed over to Dorsie's to spend the whole day over there. The girls left for a little bit and went over to the Rigby Mall. Yes, Rigby has a mall now...it's probably the smallest mall you've ever seen, but nevertheless...for Rigby it is amazing. So, we went shopping there. A lot of the shops are home businesses selling their products. It was actually pretty dang cool. If I still lived in Rigby, I would go there every weekend that Jamie was working those dumb mid-night shifts. Ashley will have a place to go now :) I told her I was jealous.

Anyways, we all went bowling in Rexburg afterwords and had a blast! Dorsie gave us each 4 quarters, and every time someone got a strike, everyone had to contribute a quarter. Dorsie was the high-roller and ended up with the most. I am proud to say I got a few strikes myself! :) Jamie did awesome too! We had so much fun though!

Jamie rolling his strike, and about ready to rake in a bunch of quarters! :)
Me ready throw a gutter ball.

Two handsome brothers :)

When we got back to the house, we all played the "name game" and then played several rounds of Mofia. Jonathon is a magician and put on a show of magic tricks. I had to record it to find the secrets. So, you'll have to check it out. I can't believe how good Dorsie was at that Mofia game though! He's a good liar! Don't miss with him! ha! It was hilarious! It got pretty heated at some moments, which made the game even funner!

Dorsie lying his socks off! LOL He is the all time pro at Mofia. Don't get in his way! :)

On Sunday we went to church and Terry made a delicious steak and potatoes meal for everyone. It was so dang good! The perfect ending to a perfect weekend. We headed home soon after and braved the 9 hour drive again.
Thanks Michele and Layne, and Dorsie and Terry for such a wonderful weekend! Ash and Pat, we had a blast with you guys! Good luck with the last couple weeks of your pregnancy! We love you all!

Jonathon showing us his magic tricks. He made a card float in mid air!

It looks like you had a great time. We were able to go to Montana and it was so much fun to be up there. It had been too long since I've been in Bigfork.
