Family...there's nothing else quite like it.

Last weekend, my mom, dad, and R.J. flew down from Montana to come visit Jamie and I. Even though they were here for just a short three days, we had an absolute blast them!

Day 1
The fun started from the minute we picked them up from the airport. We headed straight over to the Bellagio to watch the fountains and to see the autumn exhibit. We ended up watching 4 or 5 fountain shows! The Bellagio is my happy place in Vegas. It's probably my most favorite place to be down here. I absolutely love it! They played the Viva Las Vegas song, which is one of their best fountain shows!

There autumn exhibit was way cool. They always have these big trees with faces on them. You can see the face staring at the camera behind Jamie and R.J. They also had a huge water wheel, a mini version of the Bellagio fountains, and huge pumpkins! One of them was 904 pounds!
Day 2
We slept in after going to bed at 2:00 a.m... and then headed over to Guitar Center. We played around in there for a while and got mom some stuff for her guitar. After that, we ofcourse went to the Cheesecake Factory, and enjoyed every bite. Dad had been looking forward for a couple months to his lettuce wraps and mango smoothie. Mom got fish tacos, and R.J. got orange chicken. That's exactly what they ordered last year too! I got the baja chicken tacos, and Jamie got the lettuce wraps as well. But, we ofcourse had to start with the sweet tamale cakes...which are soooo yummy!

After the cheesecake factory, we headed over to Town Square and shopped around for a while. We had dessert at Yogurtland... it's a self serve yogurt shop. It is the best frozen yogurt you'll ever eat! With about 15 different flavors to choose from, and every topping you can think of, you'll want to go back for seconds. Oh wait, mom and dad already did!
It's so much fun shopping with my mom. We got these cute little scarves, and had to snap a pic! There were some amazing fall deals going on, so we had a fun time getting expensive stuff, for cheap! Our scarves were buy one get one free!
That night, we went swimming at our condo pool. So nice and sooo relaxing! The weather was just perfect!

Day 3
We went to church together. Our ward has been in the process of splitting and the Sunday they came was the actual day it happened. They only held sacrament meeting, and then had a huge stake meeting that night to rearange the stake boundaries. There are 9 wards, and 7 out of the 9 got new bishops. Our ward boundaries changed significantly. Our boundaries use to go verticle on the map, now they are horizontal. It will be like a whole new ward to us, but with the same bishop. Weird...
After church, we headed over to the temple grounds and took lots and lots of pictures! My parents have never been to the Las Vegas Temple, so it was fun to show them around.
I love this pic!

Day 4
Jamie had to go to work, but I was able to get it off. We woke up and went swimming at 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.! It was sooo much fun!

After such a fun weekend, I took them to the airport and it was so hard to say goodbye to them! I love my family so much, I already miss them! I just hate goodbyes!
Love you guys!
