Must be a girl...

So, Jamie and I went to our appointment today to find out whether we are having a boy or a girl. After waiting for 45 minutes in the waiting room to be seen, we are still clueless of what we're having! The ultrasound technician tried so hard to get a good shot, but our little one was just too stubborn! The baby kept turning over to it's side every time the tech thought it was going to move it's legs. When we text Jamie's dad about the annoying news, he wrote back and said, "it must be a girl!" Ha ha!!! We had a good laugh over that one! Oh well... sounds like we're going to have to wait four more weeks to get another ultrasound. We were, however, able to see the baby waving! It was so cute to watch it open and close it's hands. It really looked like it was waving at us! The tech said that was a bonus to see, even though we weren't able to find out the gender. He said it's a good sign it is developing well neurally. We were able to hear the heart beat again, which I love to hear! When we go in next month, we were told that they would probably have their new 3D system up! So, we'll be able to get a 3D ultrasound when we are finally able to know if we are having a boy or a girl. The other news of the day is that our due date got pushed a little. Instead of July 25th, we are now due August 7th, according to the measurements they took today. So, instead of going by the last menstrual date, they are going strictly by the ultrasound measurements, which makes me only almost 17 weeks. Oh well! We're still just so excited for this little nut to get here!!!

Hopefully it is a girl cause I know you want one! How disappointing to not get to see what the sex is, but I guess you can still look forward to it and have more surprises waiting! Glad all went well!

It's so exciting isn't it? That particular ultrasound is amazing because they finally look like a little person and not just a bean. Can't wait to find out what you're having! : )

I love love ultra sounds! That must have been so exciting to see that little hand moving (waving). I am pretty bummed you didn't find out, but I'm still rooting for you to have a girl:) Love you so much! Take care of yourself and that little bun-in-the-oven!

I am sooo excited for you. I can't wait to find out what you are having. When are your going to put a belly shot on here? I want to see what ya look like. I bet you look super cute. I miss ya like crazy linz. It is so funny I was thinking about calling you the other day. And then Ash told me you were going to have a baby. Maybe I can come visit you when I go to Utah this summer. Or maybe you could come for a weekend and we could all stay at Ash's. A sleepover like the old times. hahah. Well I love ya. I will try calling you this weekend.
